SOCAR, Georgian NOC put pen to co-op paper

The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Georgia and SOCAR signed a memorandum of cooperation. The signing ceremony was held on Wednesday at the head office of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan in Tbilisi.

In the framework of the memorandum the parties will finance a variety of Olympic programs and projects, participation in sport events organized by Georgian NOC and the International Olympic Committee, the normal functioning of the NOC, social assistance to athletes and coaches, etc.

The memorandum signed by the Director of SOCAR Georgia Mahir Mammadov and the President of the National Olympic Committee of Georgia Leri Khabelov.
