CBA mull co-op prospects with Commerzbank

Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of Germany’s Commerzbank AG Martin Blessing visited the Central Bank of Azerbaijan to meet its chairman Elman Rustamov.

They discussed numerous questions of appraisal in Azerbaijan`s bank sector, as well as prospects and relations with local banks.

Martin Blessing praised successful development of Azerbaijan, adding, the relations with Azerbaijan would further develop.

Elman Rustamov, in turn, briefed Martin Blessing on Azerbaijan`s economy, as well as its steady economic development, the diversification of economy and boosting cooperation in non-oil sector.
The sides also focused on possible areas for future cooperation in development of bank sector in Azerbaijan.
