SOCAR to considerably boost oil production

“The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will increase oil production by 2 million tons by 2015,” the company`s President Rovnag Abdullayev has told journalists.

He said SOCAR had worked out a relevant program for this purpose.

“The program aims to increase oil production at the Oil Rocks, May 28, Absheron, Narimanov, as well as old onshore oil fields. For this we will purchase state-of-the-art equipment,” Abdullayev added.
