Azerbaijani chemical operator set to build new technological equipment

SOCAR's Azerkimya Production Association has begun constructing a new nitrogen-oxygen unit at the "Ethylene-Polyethylene" plant, SOCAR said on Tuesday.

The new unit's compact size differentiates it from the old one, as does its efficiency, and a technological scheme corresponding to modern requirements and standards, as well as an automatic control system.

SOCAR consists of the Azneft production association (companies that produce oil and gas on land and sea) and the Azerkimya Production Association (chemical industry), production association Azerigas (gas distribution).

Moreover, SOCAR includes several processing, service enterprises, institutions dealing with geophysical and drilling operations.
