ECO states’ presidents to meet in Baku

The 20th meeting of ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) Ministerial Council will be held in Baku on Oct. 15.

On October 13-14, several preparatory meetings, as well meeting of ECO-ASEAN ministers will be held in Baku.Note that, outcomes and reports about transport system, trade, energy, environment and agriculture during 2011-2012, including initiatives reflected in work plan for 2012-2013 will be discussed at the ministerial meeting. ECO regional organizations and agencies, wide international society are expected to attend the event.

After Ministerial Meeting, on October 16, the 12th summit of ECO member states’ leaders will be held in Baku.

Note that, Baku Declaration is expected to adopt at the end of the summit. The declaration covers information on activity of the organization in the future.
