British Airways announces flight plans to Baku

British Airways will make flights between Baku and London with bmi as of winter 2012, the airline said on Friday.

"British Airways is actively integrating bmi company into its business structure and Baku-London flight will be included in the British Airways route network from the winter of 2012," a statement said. "The company will begin flights to Baku by the Airbus A321 via the former route of bmi seven days a week."

According to the information, new flights will provide an opportunity for people traveling for business or leisure, to use hundreds of convenient flights from London around the world.

British Airways will also publish a new schedule for the winter from October 28 for former bmi flights to Amman, Almaty and Beirut and Freetown. Starting from October 13, a direct flight to Tbilisi will be included in British Airways's routes. All flights will be performed by British Airways team and crew.

The airline has also made changes to the flight program, announcing about opening seven new flights from Heathrow to Seoul, Alicante, Leeds-Bradford, Rotterdam and Zagreb, and from Gatwick to Las Vegas and Barcelona.
