Azerbaijan sees growth in passenger transportation

The individuals operating in transport enterprises and motor transport have carried 103.3 mln tons of cargo, 3.7% from year earlier.

State Statistical Committee says 761.2 mln passengers were transported during the same period, up 8.8% from previous year.

10.7% of cargo were transported via railway, 54.1% - via motor transport, 6.3% - via sea transport, 28.9% - via pipeline. 86.6% of passengers were transported via motor transport, 13.1% - via metro.
