Fight against illegal employment strengthened

The data in the tax declarations of many business entities in Azerbaijan does not reflect their potential, Azerbaijani Tax Ministry official Natig Shirinov said at a conference on "Combating illegal employment and strengthening the protection of employees' rights"
today.

"This happens despite the number of jobs increases in the country, the socio-economic status of the population improves," he said. "This dynamic also concerns other indices."

According to the order of the Minister of Taxes, a special agency was established under the ministry which aims to combat illegal employment and ensure growth of tax revenues.

"The ministry has developed a concept to combat illegal employment and sent the draft to the relevant bodies," he said. "It is planned to make changes to the tax declarations within these measures."
