Tajikistan`s President visits Sumgait Technologies Park

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has visited the Sumgait Technologies Park (STP) as part of his official trip to Azerbaijan.

President of the Azerenerji OJSC Etibar Pirverdiyev informed the Tajik President that consisting of 17 plants STP manufactures high quality products, including various types of cables, transformers, high voltage equipment, hydroturbines, water pumps, electrical engines, pipes, and technical gases. It employs more than 100 people currently.

The Tajik leader was informed on a tower where high-voltage cable isolation lines would be built as part of the third stage of STP Cable factory construction. President Emomali Rahmon toured the area of the STP.

The President viewed the expansion work at the polymer products plant. The water and gas, sewerage as well as multi-layer polyethylene pipes with aluminum cover and other types of pipes are produced in the factory. President Emomali Rahmon wished the STP staff successes.
