Azerbaijan begins monitoring in building sector

By Order #44/14 State Statistics Committee’s chairman Arif Veliyev approved the form and performance of official statistical reporting on individual entrepreneurs’ activity.

According to the Order, this reporting is part of industrial and construction statistics. In this regard, A. Abbasaliyeva, head of the Industrial & Construction Statistics Department, was imposed a duty to ensure implementation of new forms of accountability by local statistical authorities, timeliness of their making and submission. Statistics Coordination Department’s head A. Mansurov was assigned duty of general supervision over the implementation.

New reporting covers individual entrepreneurs operating in the construction sector. They are required to submit their annual reports until 10 February of next year.

The report includes in particular such factors as: cost of work on primary and non-main activities; payment of taxes; costs (raw materials, fuel, utilities, depreciation charges, license fee, salaries, etc.), income/net profit; investments; number of employees (including foreigners and females separately); description of the ready objects; cost of fixed assets.
