Azerbaijan to produce Euro-6 standard gasoline and diesel fuel

Decline in oil prices at world market does not affect SOCAR’s income, yet, President of the company Rovnag Abdullayev said. To him, if this process continues, it will influence on the company’s incomes.

Abdullayev spoke about switch to Euro-3 standard. He noted that at present time, installations in the country allow production of gasoline only in accordance with Euro-3 standard: ‘ As to diesel, we can even produce Euro-6. the works are underway in this regard, new oil-gas processing complex is being constructed. So, in 2019-2020, Azerbaijan will be able to produce both gasoline and diesel fuel in accordance with Euro-6 standard’.
