Columbia interested in Azerbaijan`s state-of-the-art technologies in oil industry

Azerbaijan`s energy and industry Minister Natiq Aliyev has today met a Columbian delegation led by chairperson of the Senate`s second constitutional committee Alexandra Moreno Piraquive.

Aliyev informed the delegation about Azerbaijan`s oil strategy, oil production and transportation.
He spoke of development of the non-oil sphere of the economy, and the role of oil revenues in strengthening the population`s social security.

Mrs Piraquive said Columbia was interested in increasing the oil production and need to learn and use Azerbaijan`s state-of-the-art technologies in the oil industry. Mrs Piraquive invited the Azerbaijani Minister to participate in a gas forum which will be held in Columbia late this year.
