Azerbaijan, Portugal to up trade turnover

Azerbaijan and Portugal intend to increase trade turnover, deputy minister of economic development Niyazi Safarov said, APA reports.

To him, Azerbaijan has already became a country investing foreign countries directly: “ I suppose that interest of Azerbaijani companies in Portugal will increase and they will invest in attractive spheres’.

Safarov noted that at present, the trade between the two countries is not at the satisfactory level: ‘But there is potential to increase these indicators. I am sure that Azerbaijan-Portugal business-forum held n Baku will give a push to development of economic-trade relations, as well as increase of trade turnover’.
