Int'l Insurance Forum in due Baku

The 3rd Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum (AIIF) will be held in Baku on 4-5 July. The forum will bring together representatives of insurance companies from Caucasus region, Turkey, Central Asia, Russia and other CIS countries.

The Forum will focus on prospects and trends in the insurance market of the Caucasus region. In particular, discussions will be organized on such topics as international standards and complex approach to regulation and supervision of insurance assets; development of local insurance infrastructures - a starting point for increasing the quality; investment opportunities in the insurance sector in the Caucasus Region; capacity and capability of the insurance market for oil and gas sector and other major energy risks; the applicability of the philosophy of control, based on the standards of solvency and risk; compulsory insurance, the effectiveness of market development.
