SOCAR commissions new oil well in Caspian Sea

SOCAR has put into operation a new oil well in the Guneshli field in the Azerbaijani sector of Caspian Sea, the company said on Friday.

According to the information, the well was put into operation on the "Gunashli-10" platform. Daily production rate is 100 tons.

The shallow part of the field is being developed by SOCAR independently. The deep part is being developed by SOCAR together with a consortium of foreign companies.
