SOCAR to purchase over 170 filling stations in Switzerland

Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, plans to purchase 172 filling stations in Switzerland, the company`s vice-president for economic issues Suleyman Gasimov told the 19th International Conference `Oil and Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals` in Baku.

He noted SOCAR invested 60 million Swiss francs in SOCAR Trading Company in Switzerland.
According to him, the company`s investments in ESSO Schveiz Filling network in Switzerland amounted to 330 million Swiss francs.

“In addition, the company allocated 9.5 million dollars in 13 filling stations in Romania, 160m dollars in 66 filling stations and three fuel bases in Ukraine,” Gasimov added.
