
A delegation of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara headed by Prime Minister Levan Varshalomidze has already left for Azerbaijan.
As the Adjaran government apparatus told Trend, the delegation will pay an official visit to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).
During the visit the delegation is scheduled to meet with head of the NAR Supreme Majlis, Vasif Talibov. It is also planned to sign a memorandum on cooperation between Batumi and Nakhchivan.
The visit will last two days, and during this time the Georgian delegation will get familiarized with Nakhchivan's economic and cultural potential.
In January, the NAR delegation was on an official visit to Batumi.
