
The CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations (CFCFA) is holding a Business Networking Forum and a Working Groups Meeting.
CAREC informs that the events wil take place on 4-5 June in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, People’s Republic of China.
The Business Networking Forum sets a goal to provide a venue for logistics and trade companies from the 10 CAREC countries to find credible, capable, and resourceful partners in the CAREC region; hold country presentations on business opportunities, including ongoing and future projects designed to facilitate trade. The three CFCFA working groups will cover issues relating to standardization and international best practices, cross-border and corridor development, and organization and funding. These groups will finalize priority project proposals for implementation under CAREC 2020, identify resources available for funding, and prepare respective action plans.
Around 200 participants - representatives of transport and logistics companies, major shippers, road carriers, and freight forwarders, as well as trade facilitation focal points of 10 CAREC countries, and multilateral institution partners—are expected to attend.
