Which districts are preferable in Baku?

Activity on the real estate market in Baku in April was higher than during the previous month due to increased non-residential market activity, the MBA Group consulting company said on Friday.

"This growth is an indicator of stability observed in the market, and is explained by the beginning of months for the seasonal sale of land and commercial properties," the report says.

The share of low-cost apartments in sales portfolio increased by 0.8 percent, reaching 58.1 per cent and the share of expensive apartments amounted to 41.9 percent.

In April, the number of transactions on the secondary market grew by 14.3 percent to 4005 proposals, the number of deals - by 0.3 percent to 1191 sales, the exposure period remained stable - 97 days.

According to a report in April, most of the proposed flats were in Yasamal (23.3 percent), Nasimi (22.2 percent) and Narimanov (20.2 percent) districts of Baku.

"Most of the proposals are renovated apartments in new buildings (1554). In addition, the majority are flat in Leningrad (576) and experimental (396) projects, Khrushchev building (507), Stalin building (375) and others," the message noted.
