Azerbaijan conducts audit inspections for almost 28mln manat

Following 2011 Azerbaijani auditors concluded 3.465 agreements for totally AZN 27.729 million.

Head of Azerbaijan’s Audit Chamber Vahid Novruzov has reported that in 2011, 42 independent auditors, 52 audit companies (including 5 branches of foreign companies) and 3 foreign audit companies were operating in the country on the basis of license provided by the Chamber.

" Last year the companies concluded 3.465 agreements for totally AZN 27.729 million , 541 agreements of them for AZN 5.233 million remained from the last year and 2.924 for AZN 22.495 million were signed last year ",- V. Novruzov said.

In his words, 5% of agreements and 27,6% of payment sum fell on the share of foreign companies’ branches and reps, including for fully foreign companies- 31,4% and 7,85% respectively. 40,6% of agreements and 33,6% of total sum fell on the share of local audit companies and 46,6% and 7,4% respectively on the share of independent auditors.

V. Novruzov also said that last year Audit Chamber transferred AZN 26.406 to state budget, AZN 53.279 to State Social Protection Fund and another AZN 3.160 to provide financial support with charity purpose.
