Azerbaijan sees deflation in April

In April, decrease of food products prices by 0.9%, remaining of prices of non-food products and payable services unchanged caused decrease of consumption goods prices and service tariffs by 0.4% compared with a month ago, said the State Statistical Committee.

According to SSC, prices of flour, buckwheat, vermicelli and macaroni, bread, beef, chicken, fresh fish, egg and etc decrease during the month. At the same time, lamb, sausage, corn oil, banana, cabbage, beet and carrot prices increased.
