Khachmaz PP ups power generation

The Khachmaz power station generated 118.2 million kilowatt / hours of electricity in January-March compared to planned 117 million kilowatt / hours, Azerenergy said today.

According to the information, in March Khachmaz power station generated 34.1 million kilowatt / hours of electricity or 600,000 kilowatts / hours more than the forecasted level.

The Khachmaz power station with a capacity of 87 MW was commissioned in 2006.

The capacity of power plants owned by "Azerenergy" exceeds 6,000 megawatts. There are more than 200 substations with a capacity of 500, 330, 220 and 110 kilovolts, as well as six hydroelectric power stations and 13 thermal power plants on the Azerenergy's balance.
