A working group for the construction by Azerbaijan of an oil refinery in Kyrgyzstan has been set up, Kyrgyz first deputy Prime Minister Aaly Karashev said at a press conference on Monday, KirTAG reports.
"We considered the question of the construction by Azerbaijan of an oil refinery in Kyrgyzstan and decided to create a working group to make concrete proposals," Karashev said, summing up the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission on trade economic, scientific technical and humanitarian cooperation.
He said the intergovernmental committee discussed a number of issues such as energy, health, agriculture and education.
"On all questions held in a constructive dialogue, we have found common ground. Both sides also discussed the possibility of organizing a flight route between Baku and Bishkek," Karashev added.
