Azerbaijani NGOs warned

Azerbaijani Finance Ministry has warned in writing non-governmental organizations that have not submitted before April 1, 2012 financial reports based on activities in 2011, the ministry's statement said on Friday.

The Finance Ministry has notified the Ministry of Justice. Under the law, after receiving written notice from the Ministry of Finance NGOs must submit reports within 30 days.

Lack of financial activities during the reporting period does not relieve NGOs from the obligation to submit a financial report. They must submit a blank report forms, together with a cover letter.
