Azerbaijani insurance market to grow

Azerbaijani insurers’ premiums for 2012 may be brought up to 240 million manats.

Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA) executive director Azer Aliyev informs that the country’s insurance market continues growing at a positive rate, given premiums of 155 million manats in 2010 and 212 million manats in 2011.

"I think that with taking into account activation of compulsory insurance, the insurers’ premiums for 2012 will reach 240 million manats. At that, one should take into account development of life insurance," Aliyev said.
