Prices on Baku's building materials market jumps

This March the prices on the building materials market of Baku rose by 1.1%. Public organization "Property Market Participants" reports that prices for construction materials grew by 1.9% against the 2011 same term and by 0.1% versus early 2012.

"The market share of local production of building materials in prices exceeded the share of imported materials by 1.12% and reached 52.9%," it was informed.

In March, the monitoring was conducted on 38 items and 88 varieties of building materials. According to its results, prices for rubble rose significantly by 33.3%, quarry stone by 17,4%, building sand by 12.8%, riprap by 25%, wood by 6.7%, laminate flooring by 4.1%; brick by 5.1%. Dict price fell in March by 0.9%, galvanized sheets by 2.9%, iron sheets by 2.6%, channel by 1.1%.
