Azerbaijani, Israeli companies mull coop

Azerbaijani entrepreneurs met Thursday with representatives of Israel`s companies in a roundtable meeting co-organized by the Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economic Development and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).

The event has brought together Azerbaijani businessmen from the field of agriculture, representatives of Israel`s companies engaged in projection, construction and management of greenhouse complexes, poultry farming, irrigation sector.

Addressing the event, AZPROMO Vice President Gulshan Rzayeva noted that agriculture is a priority sector in Azerbaijan`s economy. She stressed importance for local businessmen to use sophisticated technologies and world experience.

The Israel`s delegation delivered a presentation on the companies` activity, innovations in the agriculture and food industry and new technologies. The sides also exchanged views on the use of Israel`s experience in the agrarian sector in Azerbaijan.

Following the roundtable, the Israeli delegation led by Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Orit Noked saw the state-of-the-art technologies used by local enterprises.
