Azerbaijan's agricultural products are safe

There are no problems with the quality of plant agricultural products exported by Azerbaijan, head of the State Phytosanitary Service Mammadali Dunyamaliyev told Trend on Thursday.

"In the past two years we have not received any serious complaints on the plant agricultural products exported from Azerbaijan, there were no grievances in this regard," said Dunyamaliyev.

He said agricultural products of Azerbaijan are of high quality.

"We are checking all the agricultural products of plant origin exported from the country and issue the appropriate phytosanitary certificate. In any case, the importing countries do not let products without such a certificate pass," said Dunyamaliyev.

He said the service continues to test for seasonal and local markets, and checks plant production for the presence of any disease.
