Azerbaijan seeks to boost cooperation with WB

Agricultural Minister of Azerbaijan Ismet Abbasov has received the World Bank’s mission composed of Nicolas Ahouissoussi, Citendra Srivastava and Rufiz Chiragzadeh.

The Ministry reports that , having thanked for support of completed program on upgrade of Scientific-Research Agriculture Institute , I. Abbasov backed the World Bank’s initiative " Influence of global climatic changes to Azerbaijan’s agriculture" and expressed hope for the bank’s preparation of National agricultural strategy and adaptation events. The Minister noted importance of expansion cooperation with the bank for development and upgrade of  Azerbaijan’s agriculture.

N. Ahouissoussi voiced hope that Azerbaijan will take into account conclusions of the initiative in development of national economy.
