Baku eyes advertizing and marketing methods

A two-day international conference «Advertising –Reality and Perspectives. Modern view on Advertising and Marketing "  has opened in Baku.

At the conference opening Culture and Tourism Minister of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev stated that main purpose of the conference is assistance to formation of Azerbaijan’s modern image.

" Presence of leading world advertising agencies, TV channels and media at the conference promotes to it ",- A. Garayev noted.

On the whole he positively estimated development of the country’s advertising market and business.

" From the time of establishment of our agency in 2006 we started preparing development program of advertising field and already gained first success in this direction ",- A. Garayev said.

At that some conference participants note that Azerbaijan’s advertising market is small with little advertising budget. The others speak for creation of special agency on advertising sector regulation.

" At present the sector is being regulated by Culture and Tourism Ministry ",- A. Garayev noted.
