ADB to monitor water projects in Azerbaijan

Complex mission on Water Supply led by Director of Regional Development and Water Supply Department for Central and West Asian Countries of Asian Development Bank Anand Chinplunkar has arrived in Azerbaijan.

ADB’s representative in the country Olli Norojno has reported that main target of the mission is regular assessment of progress in implementation of projects financed by the bank in water sector of the country.

" Jointly with OJSC Azersu and Nakhchivan Agency for Water Resources the mission assesses the course of projects and necessary steps on increase of the projects’ efficiency. Perspective directions of cooperation are also under discussion ",- O. Norojono said.

Azersu authorities have already received the mission.
