SMS notification service launched for vehicle owners

Now, vehicle owners will have the opportunity to receive via mobile phone a notification  over transactions under the agreement on compulsory insurance, as well as information contained in this agreement.

The Compulsory Insurance Bureau established in Azerbaijan in the framework of the new law ‘On mandatory types of insurance’ reported about this today.

By sending the state license plates’ number to 9707, the owners will receive SMS-messages with information about the series and issue certificates of insurance, dates of entry into force of ID and expiry, name and contacts of the insurance company.

Today, only subscribers of mobile operator Azercell and Azerfon can use this service.  The Bureau is finalizing negotiations with a third operator - Bakcell, a service for its subscribers will be launched in the coming days.
 
The cost of one message is 0.2 manat.

The Bureau members are nine companies - State Insurance Commercial Company of Azerbaijan, Pasha Sigorta, Ateshgah Sigorta, Ata Sigorta, AXA MBASK, Xalq Sigorta, Standard Insurance, AzSigorta and Alfa Sigorta.
