Baku TPP ups power generation

In January-February, the Baku Thermal Power Plant (TPP) generated about 105.9 million kilowatt hours of electricity compared to forecasted 105.5 million kilowatt hours, Azerenergy (electricity production and distribution in Azerbaijan) said on Monday.

"The TPP generated about 51.6 million kilowatt hours of electricity in February," the report says. The TPP was commissioned in February 2007. In 2011, it generated 583.9 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. Baku TPP with capacity of 105 MW consists of 12 units.
