Azerbaijan joins Eurasia Rail exhibition

The 2nd Eurasia Rail Rolling Stock, Infrastructure and Logistics exhibition is underway in Istanbul, Turkey. About 200 companies from Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Iran, Georgia, Spain, Romania, Greece, Turkmenistan, UK, Germany, Australia, Italy, Belgium, Korea Republic and Turkey are attending the exhibition.

Director General and Chairman of the Board of Turkish State Railways Suleyman Karaman and Transport minister of Bulgaria Ivaylo Moskovsky made speeches at the opining ceremony of the event.

The speakers underlined the importance of projects connecting Europe and Asia, in particular, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars and Marmaray railways.

Eurasia railway 2012 conference featured discussions on rolling stock, light rail, infrastructure technology, railway logistics and cooperation of railway companies in Eurasia.
The exhibition will wrap up on Saturday.
