'SOCAR-Foster Wheeler' JV's structure approved

The first meeting of the board of directors of JV "SOCAR-Foster Wheeler - engineering services" has been held. Chairman of the Board of Directors Tofig Gahramanov, Council members Fakhraddin Ismailov, Senan Tapdygov, Mapko Moresko and Mario Giuliani attended the meeting, SOCAR told Trend on Monday.

During the meeting internal structure of the JV was approved, budget discussed, business plan discussed and approved, personnel matters considered, consulting company selected and appropriate decisions made.

The initiative of creating JV was put forward by SOCAR and the main purpose of its creation is the preparation of highly qualified personnel. 65 per cent share of joint venture is owned by SOCAR, 35 percent - "Foster Wheeler". According to the constituent treaty and the reached agreement, the personnel that will be employed by the enterprise in future, will be trained at the office of "Foster Wheeler" Italiana SRL in Milan.
