Prices for constrcution materials decrease

Stagnation ruling in all real property market segments of the country, which is characteristic for the start of the year , also affected construction materials market.

NGO " Property Market Participants " reports that prices for constrcution materials fell by 0.33% versus December 2011, by 14.8%- versus early 2012 and by 18.1%- versus last year’s same term.

In total market dynamics price changes happened only in 10 kinds of construction materials out of 38 researched materials. Price reduction happened on 9 kinds. The only construction materials which rose in price were galvanized sheets- by 0.5%.  Share of local production construction materials at the market made 52% in January versus 51% in December 2011.
