Azerbaijan-India economic coop mulled

The Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) yesterday held an Azerbaijan-India business meeting, which brought together about 40 businessmen. Head of AZPROMO Adil Mammadov spoke at the meeting about the economic progress made in Azerbaijan, business and investment opportunities in the country. He also stressed the importance of business meetings for expansion of bilateral ties.

Indian ambassador Debnad Show said his country was interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan. The diplomat noted both countries had great potential to boost bilateral cooperation even more.

Head of the Indian delegation at the meeting told of the opportunities of cooperation between Azerbaijani and Indian businessmen. The meeting participants also discussed prospects for economic cooperation between businessmen of the two countries.
