Azerbaijan eyes wine export opportunities

The Economic Development Ministry in Azerbaijan has discussed wine growing and winemaking development, the ministry said on Monday.

An action plan prepared under the state wine culture development program and the possibilities to export these products to traditional and new markets in 2012-2020 was discussed at a meeting with the heads of leading companies in this field.

The meeting outlined the need for granting preferential loans, establishing brands in this area and implementing comprehensive measures to support exports.
