Azerbaijan`s economy grows

Azerbaijan saw its gross Domestic Product make AZN4.1bn ($5.2bn) in January, a 1.2%-growth against the same month last year, the State Statistics Committee announced. According to the official figures, per capita GDP was AZN448.6 ($570.5) last month. GDP outside the oil and gas sector grew 5.9% compared to January 2011, while it fell 2.4% in the oil and gas sector.
