Baku to mull role of audit in increasing transparency

The Azerbaijani capital will host an international symposium on the role of audit in increasing transparency in mid-March. The symposium will be co-organized by the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors, Azerbaijan Union of Economists, Azerbaijan University, Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors and Kazakh Chamber of Auditors.

The symposium will feature speeches and reports on problems of audit, the role of audit in increasing economic and financial transparency, and the European Parliament and Council of Europe directives on the audit of financial reports.
