Azerbaijan gets permanent membership in UN Committee on Space

Azerbaijan became a permanent member of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry reported. Based on the report,  the resolution No. 66/71 on Azerbaijan’s membership in the COPUOS was approved on Jan. 12. Earlier Azerbaijan had an observer status in COPUOS.
